Howland (Douglas Leo Howland, New York, 1920-1999), including: (1) Canada Geese, signed lower left and verso, sheet: approx 14.5"h, 22"w, (1) Canada Geese, signed lower right and verso, sheet: approx 22.25"h, 27.25"w; 1.5lbs total **Provenance: From the estate of Douglas Howland (New York, 1920-1999). Howland attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, graduating in 1941 with a Fine Arts degree. He served as Artist Preparator at the Rochester Museum of Arts and Sciences and the New York State Museum at Albany. His artwork appeared in the original cover for The Kingbird, numerous children’s books, and as the logo of The Federation of New York State Bird Clubs for fifty years.** Start Price: $80.00
