Description: ALL: cal. 7.65x53. 1) MAUSER LOEWE MODEL 1891 ARGENTINE. S# P9514. Bbl. 29.1". All visible numbers match. Marked on left receiver rail "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891 MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN". Argentine crest has been removed. Straight bolt handle. Ladder rear sight marked to 2,000m. Inverted V front sight. Cleaning rod is present. Bayonet lug. Bottom swivels. Walnut stock set. Buttstock marked on right side w/ Argentine acceptance cartouche. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 15 5/8" fullered blade bayonet w/ curved quillon. Marked on right ricasso "MODELO ARGENTINO 1891" & "D8142". Marked on left ricasso "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CO SOLINGEN". Marked on pommel "RA" acceptance mark. Grooved brass grips. Steel scabbard w/ leather frog. Bayonet & scabbard show light wear, dents & scratches throughout. Leather frog has mildew, wear & scuffing. Rivets & stitching are tight. CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear, dents, scratches & staining throughout. Metal has 85% blue w/ light wear & scratches. Crest was ground & appearance of arsenal reblue. Fair worn bore turning dark. (01-14312/RW). ANTIQUE. 2) BELGIUM DEL'ETAT MODEL 1889/1936. S# 71320. Bbl. 23 1/4". All visible numbers match. Receiver marked on top of ring w/ MANUFACTURE D'ARMES DEL'ETAT." Conversion of Model 1889 long rifle to short rifle in 1936. Straight bolt handle. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1900m. Inverted V front sight w/ protective ears in style of 1935 short rifle. Cleaning rod is present. Added bayonet lug & hinged upper band w/ stacking swivel. Hinged lower band. Bottom swivels. Flat steel buttplate. Stock set has mismatched appearance due to wood added to forend between upper & lower band. Buttstock marked on right side w/ circular marking "MAE 1936 crown over L". Added pinned stock reinforcement between rear receiver tang & trigger guard on right side. Added Mauser type recoil bolt ahead of trigger guard w/ sm. area of replaced wood on right side. Left side underneath bolt stop has dark inletted wood stamped w/ S#. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish w/ moderate wear, dents, scratches & staining throughout. Sm. area of replaced wood on right side at heel. Toe has crack approx. 3" extending from butt. Approx 1 3/4" crack behind receiver tang. Arsenal rework metal has 75% finish w/ thinning, wear & scratches. Bolt finished bright. Very good shiny bore. (17-3186/RW). CURIO. $700-900 for lot.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
