Description: UNITED STATES, 20th CENTURY Two World War II war propaganda posters. The first poster was printed by the Office of Defense Transportation in1943 and displays a photograph of a crowded train car. The phrase "Is Your Trip Necessary?" is printed across the top of the photograph while "Needless travel interferes with the War Effort" is boldly printed below. The second poster was printed by the United States Government Printing Office in 1942 and displays the Statue of Liberty surrounded by flags of the countries in the United Nations. "THE UNITED NATIONS FIGHT FOR FREEDOM" is printed boldly across the top.
Dimensions: Both measures 31" by 22"
Condition Report: Both with original fold creases. Not inspected out of frame.
