Description: 1) MARSTON PERCUSSION HALF STOCK TARGET RIFLE. Cal. approx. 45. NSN. 36 1/2" Oct. bbl. Top of bbl. marked "W.P. MARSTON MAKER TORONTO". Engraved iron lock, bolster & bbl. tang. Brass trigger guard, buttplate, toe plate, patchbox, sm. side plate & entry thimble. Iron bbl. thimbles holding a wooden ramrod. German silver bbl. pin escutcheon. Tiger maple stock is checkered at the wrist. Pewter nosecap. CONDITION: bbl. has a medium gray, heavily cleaned, mottled finish. Lock shows traces of bluing mixed w/ a dark patina. Brass has a mellow patina. Buttplate & toeplate are broken & missing at the lower butt. Both bbl. thimbles are replaced. Ramrod is an ill fitting modern replacement. Bbl. pin missing as well as 1 bbl. pin escutcheon. Stock has scattered cracks, losses & gouges. Cheek piece has a missing stag's head inlay. 1 Bbl. tang screw is missing. Lock holds half cock only. Fair bore w/ strong rifling. (01-14441/BF). 2) COOPER PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. approx. 40. NSN. 31 5/8" Oct. bbl. Lightly engraved lock marked "H.T. COOPER". Brass trigger guard, buttplate, toeplate & entry thimble. Patchbox is brass w/ a copper hinged lid. There is a silver star shaped escutcheon just in front of the patchbox & 2 diamond shaped escutcheons on either side of the wrist. There is an aluminum butt inlay, sm. sideplate & bbl. pin escutcheons. Iron bbl. thimbles & pewter nosecap. CONDITION: bbl. has a dark patina. Brass has a dark mellow patina. Nipple appears to be brazed to the drum. Lock does not fit the stock well & is a possible replacement. Patchbox lid is a replacement. Aluminum inlay, side plate & bbl. pin escutcheons are modern replacements. There is a heart escutcheon missing at the upper wrist. Entry thimble is 50% intact. Ramrod is a modern pine dowel. Stock shows very heavy wear w/ numerous cracks & losses, particularly around the lock. Lock holds full & half cock but needs significant adjustment. Fair bore w/ no noticeable rifling. (01-14452/BF). 3) STEVENS PERCUSSION HALF STOCK TARGET RIFLE. Cal. approx. 56. NSN. 30 3/4"Oct. bbl. Top flat of bbl. is marked "H. STEVENS WATERTOWN N.Y.". Engraved lock marked "C. BAKER" at the base. Brass trigger guard, buttplate, toeplate, patchbox & bbl. pin escutcheons. There is an oval German silver 1 3/4" escutcheon at the left cheek that has an illegible name scratched on it. Pewter nosecap. Iron bbl. thimbles. CONDITION: bbl. has a dark patina w/ pitting at the breech. Hammer has a replacement brass screw. Stock has a significant crack on either side running through the bbl. pins nearly to the lock. Lock holds both full & half cock but needs significant adjustment. Fair bore. (01-14453/BF). ALL ANTIQUE. $800-1250 for lot.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
