Description: 1) CARL GUSTAV MODEL 96. Cal. 6.5x55. S# 18316. Bbl. 29.1". Import mark on bottom of bbl. All visible numbers match. Bolt & bolt shroud have original numbers ground off & electro pencil numbers to match. Receiver marked on top w/ Swedish Crown "C" & "CARL GUSTAFS STADS GEVARSFAKTORI 1899". Straight bolt handle. Ladder rear sight marked to 2,000m. Blade front sight. Muzzle has not been threaded. Cleaning rod is present. Bottom swivels. Non matching hardwood stock set has brass conditioning disk on right side of butt. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish w/ moderate wear, dents, scratches & staining throughout. Several sm. cracks behind receiver tang. Metal retains 85% arsenal rework blue finish w/ light wear & scratches. Very good bore. (17-3828/RW). 2) IRAQ MODEL 98K. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# W14598. Bbl. 23 1/4". Import marked at bottom of bbl. Receiver marked on top right of ring w/ Arabic letter "jeem" in triangle. Receiver marked on left side w/ encircled "1". Trigger guard, rear sight, bolt & furniture have numerous boxed & encircled "1". Numbers match on receiver, bolt , stock & floorplate. Bolt has turn down handle w/ flattened knob. Tangent rear sight marked to 2,000m. Inverted V front sight. Cleaning rod is present. Bayonet bar. H style upper band. Provision for 98K style side sling. Stamped trigger guard w/ milled floorplate. Cup type buttplate. Mismatched hardwood stock set. Handguard extends from front of receiver ring to upper band. CONDITION: wood has heavy wear w/ gouges, staining, dents & scratches throughout. Sm. crack behind receiver tang. Metal has 60% arsenal rework type finish w/ thinning, wear, dents, scratches & light oxidation throughout. Bolt is finished bright. Good bore w/ wear to lands. (17-3829/RW). 3) dou WAFFEN-WERKE BRUNN MODEL 98K. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 1944K. Bbl. 23 1/2". Import marked on bottom of bbl. Receiver ring marked on top "dou 44". Marked on left receiver rail "Mod.98". Waffenamts appear to have been removed. All visible numbers match except bolt assembly. Tangent rear sight marked to 2,000m. Inverted V front sight. Has bayonet bar. Cleaning rod not present. All stamped furniture except detachable floorplate. Solid upper band assembled by welding. 98K style period side sling. Cup buttplate. Steel takedown hole. Laminated stock set. Buttstock marked on right side w/ S#. CONDITION: stock set has extensive wear, staining, scratches & gouges. Buttstock has appearance of sm. cracks along left side. Metal turned overall gray w/ wear, dents & scratches. Receiver ring has prominent grinding marks on top to remove markings. Bbl. on left side over chamber has dents. Fair worn bore turning dark. Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
