Description: 1) Overall length: 30 5/8". Blade length: 20 1/8". Blade has a straight hamon. Habaki is copper. There is a single seppa below the tsuba. Tsuba is iron in the shape of a dragon & signed around the tang hole. Nakago has 2 mekugi-ana & is unsigned. Fuchi & kashira appear to be patinated copper highlighted in gilt & decorated w/ foo dogs. Tsuka-ito is maroon. Same is black & appears not to be ray skin. Menuki appear to be hoho birds. Saya is black enameled wood covered w/ a green animal skin pattern leather laced at the throat. There is a paper note w/ Japanese writing glued to the outside of the saya. CONDITION: blade is quite clean. Tsuka shows light wear & is slightly dirty. Saya appears undamaged w/ wear at the throat. (02-11235/BF). 2) Overall length: 26 1/2". Blade length: 19 1/2". Blade has a slightly wavy sudare style hamon. Blade has a lg. 5" fuller running from the habaki & a 7 1/2" tiny, narrow fuller also running from the habaki. Habaki is silver. There is 1 seppa above & below the tsuba. Tsuba is iron w/ cut out ivy leaf designs. Nakago has 2 mekugi-ana & has a lengthy signature. Fuchi & kashira are patinated copper highlighted w/ gilded foliage & lions. Tsuka-ito is missing. White same. Menuki are missing. Saya is brown enameled wood. Kozuka has a signed blade w/ Japanese characters & a patinated copper handle w/ gilded highlights featuring cherry trees. CONDITION: blade is quite clean w/ a beautiful finish & seems quite heavy. Tsuka is quite rough showing the remains of the same & no tsuka-ito. Saya shows only minor losses to the finish. (02-11239/BF). 3) Overall length: 23 1/2". Blade length: 16". Blade has no visible hamon. Habaki is silver. There is 1 seppa above & below the tsuba. Iron tsuba is nearly undecorated. Nakago has 1 mekugi-ana & has a signature. Fuchi & kashira are patinated copper highlighted in gold featuring Japanese writing. Tsuka-ito is dark tan. White same. Menuki appear to be gold highlighted copper horses. Saya is black enameled wood. Kozuka has a signed blade w/ a patinated copper handle. Handle is iron & has floral decoration highlighted in gold. CONDITION: blade has a dark mottled patina w/ a noticeable flaw 5 1/4" back from the tip. Tsuka shows light to moderate wear. Saya has several cracks to the finish & is missing the koiguchi & a sm. piece of wood that supports the handle of the kozuka. (02-11240/BF). $900-1400 for lot.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
