Description: 1) INDIA PATTERN BROWN BESS PERCUSSION CONVERSION MUSKET. Cal. approx. 75. NSN. 39 1/4" Bbl. 2 Proofs on left side of bbl. 1 Proof on right side. Musket has a square drum conversion. Lock marked "TOWER", "(crown) GR" & a crown/broad arrow. Brass trigger guard, buttplate, nose cap, side plate & all thimbles. Stock stamped "WD" near side plate. CONDITION: metal has a medium gray cleaned mottled finish. Hammer is quite loose. Nipple is broken. No ramrod. Stock shows significant wear & has minor losses near the lock plate & bbl. tang. There is a crack that extends from the front of the lock plate back to the trigger guard. Lock holds full & half cock. Fair bore. (01-14440/BF). 2) BELGIAN FLINTLOCK MUSKET. Cal. approx. 70. NSN. 42 1/2" Bbl. w/ a Belgian proof on the top. Lock has a sm. crowned proof mark near the top. Iron trigger guard, buttplate, side plate, bbl. bands & ramrod. CONDITION: iron has a partially cleaned, dark mottled patina w/ areas of corrosion. Flint hammer is missing. Bbl. was originally pinned but now has 3 homemade bbl. bands securing the bbl. to the stock. Ramrod appears incorrect but is early. Stock shows severe wear w/ losses at the butt possibly from insect damage, at the breech, along the bbl. channel, nose & midway up the stock. Poor bore. (01-14484/BF). 3) TOWER 1853 PERCUSSION RIFLE. Cal. 577. NSN. 32 1/4" Bbl. The shortened bbl. has 4 proofs on the left side near the breech. Lock is marked "TOWER 1861 (crown)". Brass trigger guard, buttplate & nosecap. 3 Iron rifle bands. Stock has an illegible retailer's mark in a circle just in front of the buttplate. CONDITION: iron has a cleaned, medium gray mottled finish w/ pitting around the replacement nipple. There is an "X" carved into the top of the buttplate. Stock shows heavy wear w/ losses at the bbl. tang & near the nipple. There is a repair below the hammer. There are further losses at the ramrod channel. No ramrod. There is a lg. screw & brass plate repair opposite the lock w/ a corresponding repair to the stock. Stock & bbl. have been shortened. Lock holds both full & half cock. Fair bore. (01-14492/BF). 4) PERCUSSION HALF STOCK FOWLER. Cal. approx. 10 Ga. NSN. 47" Oct. to rnd. bbl. w/ 3 silver inlaid bands at the breech. Engraved lock is illegibly marked. Iron trigger guard, buttplate, bbl. & entry thimbles. German silver nosecap & bbl. pin escutcheons. Stock is checkered at the wrist. Original wooden ramrod w/ iron tip. CONDITION: iron has very dark oxidized patina. There is significant pitting at the breech & muzzle. Stock has significant wear w/ minor cracks & alligatoring to the finish. Lock holds both full & half cock. Poor bore. (01-14528/BF). ALL ANTIQUE. $800-1200 for lot.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.

* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
