Description: 1) FLINTLOCK HALF STOCK FOWLER. Cal. approx. 12 Ga. NSN. 36 3/4" Rnd. bbl. marked "LONDON" on the top w/ 2 proofs. Original flintlock is marked "REDFERN & GODDARD". Engraved brass trigger guard & buttplate. Brass bbl. thimbles were added later. Brass tipped replacement wooden ramrod. Brass stylized escutcheon plate at top of wrist. CONDITION: iron has a dark mottled patina. Brass has a mellow patina. Shortened stock shows significant wear & has a repaired crack near the nose. Lock holds both full & half cock. Fair bore. (01-14458/BF). 2) JOHNSTONE PERCUSSION HALF STOCK FOWLER. Cal. approx. 20 Ga. NSN. 32" Oct. to tetra decagon (14 sided) to rnd. damascus type patterned bbl. marked "JOHNSTONE BIRMINGHAM" on the top flat. Engraved back action lock. Iron trigger guard, buttplate, bbl. & entry thimbles. Silver nosecap, bbl. pin escutcheon & escutcheon plate at rear base of stock. Brass tipped wooden ramrod. Stock is checkered at the wrist & forend. CONDITION: iron has a dark mottled patina. Nipple broken. Wood shows great wear & has scattered cracks & losses, particularly at the front of the lock. Lock is loose but holds full & half cock. Fair bore. (01-14460/BF). 3) WHEELER & SON PERCUSSION CONVERSION FOWLER. Cal. approx. 14 Ga. NSN. 37" Rnd. bbl. w/ 2 proofs on the side. This was likely a flintlock military musket converted after its useful life to a fowler utilizing a drum conversion. Lock is marked at the rear "WHEELER & SON". Iron trigger guard. Brass buttplate, bbl. thimbles & side plate. Wooden ramrod. CONDITION: iron has a dark patina. Brass buttplate & sideplate have been cleaned but are beginning to tone nicely. Thimbles have a dark patina. Stock has been refinished & shows losses & cracks around the lock, at the nose & in front of the sideplate. Lock does not hold cock. Fair bore. (01-14462/BF). 4) PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. approx. 50. NSN. 30 3/8" Oct. bbl. Plain back action lock. Brass trigger guard, buttplate & toeplate. Recently added copper bbl. band. Iron bbl. thimbles. Replacement wood ramrod. CONDITION: iron has a dark patina overall w/ pitting concentrated at the breech. Brass has a mellow patina. Nosecap missing. Bbl. pin missing. Stock has numerous dents, dings & repairs w/ a lg. repair behind the hammer. Broken replacement nipple. Lock holds full & half cock. Fair to good bore. (01-14465/BF). 5) PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. approx. 38. NSN. Heavy oct. to rnd. 31" bbl. Engraved lock. Engraved trigger guard & buttplate. Iron bbl. & entry thimbles. Replacement wood ramrod. Stock is checkered at the wrist. German silver nosecap & bbl. pin escutcheon. Later added peep sight. CONDITION: iron has a medium gray mottled patina. Hammer is missing. Nipple shows heavy filing. Oval escutcheon plate on rear base of stock missing. Bbl. shows numerous vise marks. Stock has a significant repair at the toe & shows overall refinishing. Fair bore. (01-14467/BF). ALL ANTIQUE. $950-1450 for lot.

* Shipping does not begin until the following Friday. This is a multiple day event that covers our preview, our auction and James D. Julia's Auction, because of this, shipping cannot start until both auctions are done.
* Multiple winning bids will be combined to save buyer money.
* We reserve the right to not ship an item if we feel an item is too fragile or bulky for us to handle.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
