Description: 1) FRENCH M1859 PERCUSSION MUSKET. Cal. approx. 69". S# 2936 (stock). 34" Rnd. bbl. This M1859 musket has been altered to a fowler/shotgun. Bbl. has 2 proofs on the left side. Date is obscured by pitting. Mfg. on lock has been purposefully removed. Iron trigger guard, buttplate & rear bbl. band. CONDITION: iron has a dark patina w/ corrosion around the breech. Front of stock has been removed. Originally there were 2 bbl. thimbles added that are now missing. No ramrod. Stock shows numerous dents & dings but is substantially solid. Lock holds booth full & half cock. Fair to poor bore. (01-14451/BF). 2) PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. approx. 54. NSN. 32" Heavy oct. bbl. Engraved back action lock. Brass trigger guard, buttplate, toeplate & patchbox. Pewter nosecap. Iron bbl. & entry thimbles. Tiger maple stock. CONDITION: iron has a medium gray cleaned finish. Brass has a mellow darkish patina. Bbl. tang screw missing. No ramrod. Drum ignition system shows heavy corrosion w/ damage to the nipple. Stock shows significant use w/ some loss around the breech & drum. Lock holds both full & half cock. Fair bore. (01-14464/BF). 3) PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. approx. 41. NSN. 33" Heavy oct. bbl. Engraved lock marked "JOSEPH GOLCHER". Brass trigger guard & buttplate. Pewter nosecap. Iron bbl. thimble. CONDITION: iron has a medium gray heavily cleaned finish showing significant pitting on the bolster & hammer. Brass has a mellow patina. Middle bbl. thimble is missing. Stock has been very heavily refinished. Lock will not hold cock. Nipple replaced. Good bore w/ heavy rifling. (01-14466/BF). 4) SAMPSON PERCUSSION HALF STOCK FOWLER. Cal. approx. 16 Ga. NSN. 28 1/2" Oct. bbl. marked "LIVERPOOL" on the top. Engraved lock marked "J. SAMPSON". Iron trigger guard, buttplate, bbl. & entry thimbles. Wooden ramrod. There is a rectangular silver escutcheon plate at the top of the checkered wrist. CONDITION: metal has a dark patina but shows nearly no pitting or corrosion. Ramrod replaced. Stock shows various dents & dings but no significant losses. Nipple replaced. Lock holds both full & half cock w/ a crisp action. Fair to good smooth bore. (01-14468/BF). 5) UNMARKED PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. approx. 70. NSN. 33 1/4" Oct. to rnd. bbl. Rifle is a modified cone in bbl. conversion, aka Belgian conversion. Brass trigger guard, buttplate & side plate. Shortened stock. CONDITION: top mounted sight has been removed. No thimbles or ramrod. Ramrod channel in stock has been filled. Wood shows numerous dents/dings & has been heavily refinished. Lock holds full cock only. Good bore w/ heavy rifling. (01-14502/BF). ALL ANTIQUE. $900-1300 for lot.

* Shipping does not begin until the following Friday. This is a multiple day event that covers our preview, our auction and James D. Julia's Auction, because of this, shipping cannot start until both auctions are done.
* Multiple winning bids will be combined to save buyer money.
* We reserve the right to not ship an item if we feel an item is too fragile or bulky for us to handle.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
