Description: 1) JAPANESE KATANA. Overall length: 38 1/4". Blade length: 26 3/4". Ha has a straight hamon. Fuchi is brass. There is a brass & a leather seppa below the tsuba & a single brass one above. Iron tsuba has an impressed design. Nakago has a single mekugi-ana & is signed on both sides. Tsuka has a dull green wrap. Same has shrunk but is present. Menuki are in the shape of leaves. Military style kashira w/ blue & yellow tassel tied on the end. Saya is leather covered wood. CONDITION: blade has a nice finish w/ a few scattered areas of discoloration. Tsuka shows moderate wear. Saya shows superficial scuffs & scrapes only. (02-11308/BF). 2) MODERN INDIA SWORD. Overall length: 37”. Blade length: 31”. A mid to late 20th century decorative sword produced in India for the souvenir market. Blade is etched over most of its length w/ foliate motifs & some Sanskrit writing along w/ “Made in India”. Brass hilt w/ tiger form pommel, brass mounted wood scabbard w/ purple velvet covering & gold tape highlights. CONDITION: sword shows light wear w/ evidence of sharpening on the blade. Covering of the scabbard is becoming loose & separated. (02-11309/BF). 3) WWII GERMAN OFFICERS SABER. Overall length: 39 1/8”. Blade length: 33 1/8”. Blade is marked “WKC (knight head)”. Gold finish hilt w/ Nazi eagle on the front languet. Composite grip w/ wire wrap. Black painted iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows substantial original factory polish. Hilt has lost 70% of its gold finish. Grip & wire are worn but complete. Scabbard has 65% black finish remaining. (02-11310/BF). 4) WWI BAVARIAN OFFICERS SWORD. Overall length: 37 3/8”. Blade length: 31 3/8”. Blade is marked “A C (scale) S”. Blade has a 5 1/4” panel engraved w/ a foliate motif & “IN TREUE FEST”. Gilded brass hilt. Languet is engraved “UNSERM FELDW GANSMEIER Z. 1.8.30 V. U.O.K.D. MIN.W.KO. 19”. Wire wrapped composite grip. Silver sword knot attached. Black painted iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows original factory polish. Hilt is quite solid but only retains traces of gilded finish. Grip & wire are complete. Sword knot is quite tarnished. Scabbard has 85% finish remaining w/ a few sm. dents just below the suspension ring. (02-11311/BF). 5) KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SWORD. Overall length: 37 1/4”. Blade length: 28”. Blade is etched over 3/4 of its length w/ various Masonic motifs. Sword is marked “THE M.C. LILLEY & CO. COLUMBUS OHIO”. Silver plated hilt. Synthetic grip w/ black transfer Masonic decoration. Scabbard has silver plated mounts on a nickel plated body. Scabbard throat has enameled highlights. CONDITION: blade shows original factory polish. Hilt is a bit loose. Scabbard shows light wear. Enameled highlights are mostly missing. (02-11312/BF). 6) KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SWORD. Overall length: 34 1/2”. Blade length: 26”. Plain unmarked blade. Silver plated brass hilt. Synthetic grip w/ aluminum cross in center. Silver plated mounts on a nickeled scabbard. Nickeled sword chain connects to a Knights Templar belt featuring a buckle w/ a central red enameled cross & the words “IN HOC SIGNO VINCES.”. CONDITION: blade shows original factory polish w/ minor scabbard wear. Grip is a bit loose. Cross appears to have been added later. Scabbard shows light wear. Belt shows moderate wear. (02-11313/BF). $800-1100 for lot.

* Shipping does not begin until the following Friday. This is a multiple day event that covers our preview, our auction and James D. Julia's Auction, because of this, shipping cannot start until both auctions are done.
* Multiple winning bids will be combined to save buyer money.
* We reserve the right to not ship an item if we feel an item is too fragile or bulky for us to handle.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
