Description: 1) WEBSTER PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 14 Ga. NSN. 26 3/4" Bbls. Engraved hammers & locks marked "WEBSTER". Engraved buttplate, trigger guard, exaggerated bbl. tang & entry thimble. Iron bbl. thimbles. Silver bbl. pin escutcheons. Iron tipped wooden ramrod. CONDITION: iron has a dark brown patina. Top rail has been resoldered to the bbl. for about 5" at the midpoint. 1 Bbl. pin escutcheon is 60% intact. Ramrod appears original. Stock is cracked in 4 places on either side of the trigger guard. Both locks hold full & half cock. Fair bores. (01-14375/BF). 2) PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 16 Ga. NSN. 30 1/2" Bbls. Nonmatching engraved back action locks. Right lock marked "JOSEPH GOLCHER" in a ribbon. Left lock marked "G. GOULCHER" in a wreath. Engraved trigger guard, buttplate & entry thimble. Iron bbl. thimbles. Iron tipped wooden ramrod. CONDITION: iron has a dark patina. Buttplate is broken at the top. Stock shows heavy wear & has minor losses at the breech. Both locks hold full & half cock. Fair bores. (01-14412/BF). 3) UNMARKED PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 8 Ga. NSN. 29" Bbls. Engraved locks marked "J. GOLCHER". Engraved hammers, trigger guard, buttplate, entry thimble & elongated bbl. tang. Wooden ramrod. Iron bbl. thimbles. There is a sm. brass oval escutcheon at the base of the stock. Stock is checkered at the wrist. CONDITION: iron has a pitted oxidized patina. Left hammer replaced. Both hammer screws replaced. Lock missing pins. Ramrod likely an early replacement. Bbl. pin replaced w/ ill fitting lg. pin. 1 Bbl. pin escutcheon missing. Stock shows significant wear & has breaks at the forend. Locks, hammers & triggers are nonfunctioning. Poor bores. (01-14513/BF). 4) UNMARKED PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 6 Ga. NSN. 30 3/4" Bbls. w/ rail marked "FINE LAMINATED STEEL" in gold. Engraved locks & matching hammers. Hammers have dog head finials. Engraved trigger guard, buttplate & entry thimble. Iron bbl. thimbles & bbl. pin escutcheons. Wooden ramrod. CONDITION: iron has a dark mottled patina. Stock is badly broken at the wrist & covered w/ cord whipping. Balance of stock shows moderate wear. Locks hold full & half cock. Poor bores. (01-14514/BF). 5) HUGHES PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 18 Ga. NSN. 35 1/2" Bbls. marked on the rail "233 HOLRORE LONDON". Engraved hammers & locks marked "R. HUGHES". Engraved trigger guard & buttplate. Brass tipped wooden ramrod. Stock is checkered at wrist. There is a sm. shield shaped silver escutcheon near the toe. CONDITION: iron has a dark patina. Stock is well worn but not broken. Both bbl. pin escutcheons are missing as is the entry thimble. Ramrod is too short. Locks hold full & half cock but need adjustment. Poor bores. (01-14515/BF). 6) HOLLIS & SHEATH PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 14 Ga. NSN. 29 1/2" Bbls. Top of rail is marked "HOLLIS & SHEATH LONDON". Left engraved lock is marked "HOLLIS & SHEATH". Engraved trigger guard, buttplate, bbl. tang & bbl. pin escutcheons. Iron bbl. thimbles. Brass tipped wooden ramrod. Stock has checkering at wrist & forend. There is a sm. shield shaped silver escutcheon at the tip of the bbl. tang. CONDITION: iron has a dark patina but shows little corrosion. Right lock is completely missing as is the entry thimble. Stock is broken at the wrist & has losses to the right forend & cracks around the entry thimble area. Poor bores. (01-14516/BF). 7) TATHAM PERCUSSION SXS SHOTGUN. Cal. approx. 16 Ga. NSN. 29 3/4" Bbls. Top of rail marked "H. TATHAM 37 CHARING CROSS LONDON". Henry Tatham was a noted London gunsmith & was gunmaker to the British royal family. Engraved locks marked "H. TATHAM". Hammers & hammer screws are replacements or altered. Engraved trigger guard, buttplate, entry thimble & bbl. tang. Iron bbl. thimbles & bbl. pin escutcheons. There is a sm. silver rectangular escutcheon behind the bbl. tang. Stock is checkered at the wrist. CONDITION: iron has a dark mottled patina. Hammers have been heavily filed. Stock shows moderate overall wear w/ minor losses at the bbl. channel. No ramrod. Both locks hold full & half cock. Fair bores. (01-14518/BF). ALL ANTIQUE. $750-1150 for lot.

Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.

* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
