Description

of ovoid form, finely painted on two sides with a lady standing in a balustrade garden with her two maids, one holding a pillow and the other holding a fan, the garden enclosed within a walled fortress with guards standing watch from the top of the crenulated ramparts and placed with abundant flowers growing from jardinieres, each side separated by a vertical scroll of morning glories with an additional panel with a lady standing by a large vase, above a band of whorl medallions and pendant lappets, all set between floral diapers collaring the shoulders and skirting the foot, the domed cover painted with 'precious objects' including a gu vase and books, bordered by pendant and upright lappets
