Terms and Conditions

The purchaser shall pay the hammer price together with a premium of 24.75% of the hammer price for the ALL sales. There is no minimum buyers premium on this auction. The amount invoiced will be premium plus VAT but this VAT will not normally be recoverable by the buyer. The vendor authorises the Auctioneer to deduct commission and expenses at the stated rates from the hammer price and acknowledges the Auctioneer's right to retain the premium payable by the purchaser.

Any lot purchased through the services of Invaluable will be subject to a further charge of 5% of the hammer price plus VAT

All items must be collected within one week of purchase, failure to collect the lot will result in storage charges being applied at a rate of £5 per lot per day + VAT. Once the storage fees exceed the value of the item purchased, all buyers rights are waived and Bamfords reserve the right to sell the item to recover storage charges incurred. Bamfords cannot offer international postage of lots

No guarantee or warranty is issued or given in anyway, either written or verbal and therefore refunds will not be issued on the basis of the Lot not being "in working order", "incomplete", or "not in original condition".

Payment details

When paying in person we can accept payment via debit card up to a maximum of £2000 and cash payment of up to £500. Payment over the telephone is by debit card only subject to a maximum amount of £2000 - we cannot accept credit card payments over the telephone, however payment may be made by credit card using the pay link on the invoice provided at close of sale. Accounts can be settled by bank transfer and account details are displayed on purchase invoices.
