A French patinated bronze Egyptian style match holder and striker, late 19th/ early 20th century, a vulture stands on the head of an Egyptian sphinx, possibly denoting the fall of the Egyptian empire next to match striker and holder behind shaped naturalistic tray, bearing marks under base, 18.5cm high.
