paillon stars on a translucent blue ground, ropetwist cagework mounts, gold-lined,
maker's mark, charge marks of J. Alaterre, date letter G for 1770/1

Condition Report: Very minor chip and abrasions to base, otherwise good condition. The later enamel panels porobably replace lacquer or tortoiseshell.
