Description:

A large brightly-coloured thangka depicting Maching Labdron (1055-1149). With white complexion with her legs in the position of a bow and arrow cāpasthāna. He holds the ghaṇtā bell as her attribute in the right hand and the ḍamaru drum raised in her left. She also wears a five-pint crown and her body is covered in jewels. She is surrounded by a pantheon of sixty-one figures, most of whom have their name written underneath them and include various Siddha, Ḍākinī, wrathful figures and historical religious characters,comprising Śākyamuni with his two main pupils, Padmasambhava, Milarepa, Mañjuśrī, Siṃhavaktra and Mahākāla. The reverse bears a long inscription and a large drawn Stūpa .
