Condition Report: The canvas has been laid down on board. The board has chipped in some of the corners and the tacking edges have frayed. There is a layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light shows two small areas of retouching to the tree to the right of the figures and some possible retouching to the left edge, as well as an opaque layer of varnish. Held in a simple silver-gilt wooden frame.
