An orange, white and blue-laced do maru armor
Helmet signed Soshu ju Myochin Nobushige Saku, Edo Period (Late 17th century), do and ode Momoyama period (16th century), mounted Edo period (19th century)
The armor with a sixty-two-plate russet iron ko boshi-bachi kabuto (helmet with small standing rivet heads) signed, fitted with a three-tiered black-lacquered o-manju jikoro (large rounded neck guard) of honkozane, the fukigaeshi of lacquered sane and gilt-metal mon (family crest), with gilt maedate (forecrest) of three ken (swords) within a crescent moon, the mabisashi (brim) also of russet iron, red-lacquered Ressei menpo (Ressei-style face mask) with detachable nose, flaring moustache and gilt teeth, with a four-tier yodaregake (bib) of kiritsuke-zane (false lamellae), the cuirass in bands of red and white silk, blue-dyed doeskin and an orange, white and blue kebiki-odoshi (close laced) do-maru with black-laquered honkozane of seven tiers and seven-section kusazuri (skirt) with black-dyed doeskin each of five tiers and mounted with gilt-copper kanamono, large matching six-tier o-sode (shoulder guards) of honkozane, russet iron oda-gote (armored sleeves), seven-splint shino suneate (leg guards); together with a saya (scabbard) for a wakizashi and unsigned blade
