Barry Kay. (1932 - 1985) A pair of framed and glazed mixed technique ballet costume designs for Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn for the Pas de Deux in the ballet Divertimento. 1 signed Barry Kay, Divertimento - Nureyev, the other Divertimento - Fonteyn 68x48.5cm Together with a similar mixed technique ballet costume design by Barry Kay for Rudolf Nureyev 59.5x46.5cm Note. Barry Kay studied Arts at the Academe Julian in Paris and was a stage and costume designer of International renown and designed numerous costumes for Nureyev and Fonteyn including the Divertimento Pas de Deux performed in Spoleto July 10th 1964 with violinist Yehudi Menuhin.
