Payment Information: You must contact us directly to make payment. Payment is due within 2 business days after the sale and can be made by check, wire transfer, cash, Visa or MasterCard.You may pick up or arrange pick up of purchases when payment is cleared.
Shipping Information: Farmer Auctions does not have a shipping department. If you are in need of a shipper in order to receive your purchases, we have two shippers in our area. UPS Store 540-772-7300, email: firstname.lastname@example.org or Packaging Store 540-772-0999 email: VA203@gopackagingstore.com. Contact them directly to obtain quotes for the packaging and delivery of your items, or make your own arrangements. We DO NOT ship items to our Gallery in Charlottesville, VA or Falls Church, VA. Buyers must make their own shipping arrangements.
Payment is expected within 48 HRS after the sale. We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, company checks, money orders and certified checks. Checks should be made out to Quinn & Farmer Auctions. Purchases will only be released to the shipper when they are paid in full (by credit card approval or when checks clear the bank) to Farmer Auctions. Payment for shipping is due directly to the shipper. Please notify us of the shipper you will be using.
As stated in the Terms & Conditions, successful bidders have 5 days to remove their purchases from the Auction Gallery. After 10 days, a monthly storage fee of $50 will be charged to the account.

Buyer's Premium: All online bidders pay an 18% buyer's premium, regardless of payment method. The buyer's premium for bidding in person with the auction gallery is 17%, with a 2% discount if paying with Cash or Check. All bidding at auction and all purchases will be in U.S. Dollars.
Taxes on your purchase: Sales Tax: We must charge 5.3% VA sales tax on the sum of the hammer price plus buyer's premium if the buyer lives in Virginia or picks up in Virginia, unless he has a valid resale license and has completed the necessary Virginia certificate of exemption (available from Farmer Auctions).
