OK Supreme’s best years were from 1926 through to 1939, but the company’s roots actually date back to 1882 when, known only as ‘OK’, it started making bicycles which were joined by motorized bicycles by the turn of the century. When Ernie Humphries assumed sole control in 1926, the name became OK Supreme and its motorcycles were powered by all manner of engines manufactured both in-house and from a number of proprietary makers, most notably JAP.

OK Supreme’s only Isle of Man TT victory occurred in 1928 when they had four finishers in the top six places in the lightweight class with Frank Longman taking the win. This success boosted sales dramatically for the handsome Birmingham-made machines, but motorcycle production ceased in 1939 to assist in manufacturing for the war effort.

The OK Supreme offered for sale here is a fine example finished in black, it’s presented in very good original condition and we’re informed it runs very well.
