Description: Fine quality one of two Chinese export Qianlong period; circa 1770; Famille Rose French market large Molded Melon shaped Tureen with a Scalloped Charger undertray Enameled with scattered flower sprays and a band of gilt spearheads and puce diaper-pattern; measures all pieces came from an important service made for the French market back in the 18th century.-------------------------------------------------------------------- The majority of the Asian antiques come from the Ambassador Petri collection, therefore the fine antique porcelain and works of art included in this auction are fresh to the market and have not seen a saleroom in 75 years.
