TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. All sales are final.
2. By registering for and/or placing a bid in any Slotin Auction, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to our Shipping, Payment & Auction Policies.
3. Bidding on any Lot is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any and all other terms announced at the time of sale. These Conditions constitute the entire agreement between bidders and Slotin and supersede all prior agreements between them, if any.
4. Georgia law applies. Jurisdiction and venue over all disputes involving these Terms and Conditions shall be in Gwinnett Co, GA.
5. Buyer's Premium is 25%
6. All property is sold "AS IS." Bidders have the opportunity and obligation to inspect items prior to bidding during scheduled preview times. Slotin, for itself and as agent for the seller, makes no warranties or representations of any kind with respect to any Lot. Buyer agrees that in no event shall Slotin be responsible for the correctness, description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, value or condition of any Lot. Nothing being said or done by Slotin shall be deemed a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability by Slotin.
7. Title to Lot and risk of loss or damage to the Lot passes to the Buyer when the Hammer falls. Slotin Auction shall have no liability for any damage to property left on its premises after the date of sale. Buyers with outstanding balance after 14 days of the close of the auction will be charged a ten percent (10%) late fee on the Sales Price. Slotin will have sole and absolute discretion to determine the successful bidder is and/or may withdraw the Lot or re-offer the Lot for sale, in the event of dispute.
8. If Buyer fails to pay the Sales Price at the close of the auction or otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions, Slotin shall be entitled to the following remedies: (1) to recover from Buyer any monetary loss arising on any resale of the Lot (including all costs of any resale or attempted resale); (2) any deposit or partial payment paid by Buyer: (3) to recover from Buyer all of its costs and expenses of collection, including attorneys' fees of fifteen percent (15%) of the outstanding balance, interest on the outstanding balance of 1.5% per month and costs; and (4) all other relief and remedies allowed by the law.
9. BIDDING LIVE ONLINE DURING THE AUCTION: Online bidders may submit absentee bids in advance of the sale or bid live along with live phone and internet audiences during the sale. If you are experiencing trouble bidding online and would like a live phone line, call: 404 403-4244. If you place an absentee bid in advance of the auction, your bid will be executed competitively along with the audience on auction day. We as the auction house never get to see your maximum bid, only the increments that are submitted by liveauctioneers. An item can close before an increment by an online bidder is submitted and we are unaware that the bidder would have gone higher to obtain the piece. Since this is a live auction, bids placed in advance of the auction are not given any more priority than bids submitted when the lot comes up for sale. Absentee bids are submitted in increments by INVALUABLE. The Buyer's commission is 25%. You may view the auction live for no fee.
10. INVOICES: Internet and phone bidders will be emailed invoices with shipping prices by Tuesday after the auction. Invoices are not even produced until the whole auction is closed out and shipping must be added in manually. The shipping prices listed with each item are only for Slotin In-House Shipping.
11. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PAY FOR YOUR PURCHASES UNTIL AFTER RECEIVING FINAL INVOICE WITH SHIPPING INFO. If you would like to pick up in person, please contact us to remove the shipping charges BEFORE you pay your invoice.
12. TAX EXEMPT: If you are tax exempt, please upload your tax exempt paperwork through your INVALUABLE account PRIOR to the auction.
13. Payment for purchases may be made in or by Invaluable payments, cash, cashier's check or money order, personal check with approved credit drawn on a U.S. bank, wire transfer or other immediate bank transfer, Zelle, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit or debit card. (The "Sales Price" is the Hammer Price plus the Buyer's Premium, plus applicable taxes).
14. Invoices are automatically charged on the 2nd Day after the auction.
15. SHIPPING
Slotin Auction offers In-House Shipping or Buyer Pick Up for your convenience.
In-House Shipping
For items that can be shipped via UPS Ground Slotin Auction has listed a Flat Rate shipping price.
The Flat Rate shipping prices are ONLY for Slotin Auction In-House Shipping within the Continental U.S.
Slotin Auction packs and ships in the order of payment received.
UPS tracking numbers are forwarded as soon as the driver picks up.
It generally takes 4-6 weeks to get an entire auction shipped out.
Insurance:
Shipping Insurance is optional and extra - 2%.
Signature Required:
Slotin Auction requests a Signature Required for packages valued $750 or above.
If you prefer to decline the signature or have a signature required for items under $750 just let us know and we will modify.
Picking Up
Buyers are more than welcome to pick up their auction lots in person after the auction.
The auction hall is open Mondays-Thursdays - 9am-2pm EST or by appt.

Special Requests:
If shipping and or insurance has been added to your invoice and you would like it removed or you have any special shipping changes or requests, please email or message before paying your invoice we will do our best to accommodate: auction@slotinfolkart.com.
Buyer Responsible for Shipping Items:
Items that are too large or fragile to be shipped via UPS Ground, can be picked up in person or transported by a third party. Below is a list of drivers we have worked with in the past and Slotin Auction is also happy to work with any transport company a customer prefers.

After Invoices are paid, Slotin Auction will pack items for international shipping and forward the exact UPS shipping costs over for approval and payment. If you prefer to make your own international shipping arrangements, Slotin is happy to pack items if requested and work with your shipper.
In House Shipping or Pick up
Slotin Auction offers In House Shipping or Buyer Pick up to make it as easy as possible for bidders.
