Description
Cynthia Moran Killeavy GIRL LOOKING IN A MIRROR signed on hem of skirt on reverse; also with foundry stamp on right leg on reverse bronze on polished black marble base 46 by 23cm., 18 by 9in. Cynthia Moran Killeavy was born in Co. Kildare, a sister of the late Frances Bunch Moran, painter (1928-2002). She attended evening classes at the National College of Art, Dublin and later studied sculpture at St. Martin's College of Art, London. Since 1964 she has been based in Madrid, exhibiting regularly in group shows both in Spain and Ireland.
