Description: Dublin and the 'Sinn Féin Rising',Issued by Wilson Hartnell & Co, Dublin, printed by The Brunswick, oblong folio, wrappers (now bound into cloth covered boards)This is the best and most immediate of the photographic pamphlets put out after the Easter Rising. The facsimile of Pearse's last statement Headquarters Army of the Irish Republic, General Post Office, Dublin, 28th April 1916, 9.30am does not appear elsewhere in Ireland. The advertisements featuring 'business as usual' sentiment show the lack of support for the rising, before the execution of the leaders.
