Description

Elizabethan Oak Withdrawing Table, late 16th/early 17th century, the paneled top above a lunette-carved apron, with draw-leaves at either end, raised on six large cup-and-cover supports, deeply carved with a gadrooned register above the acanthus-carved base, joined by low stretchers on block feet, ht. 32, lg. 120 1/2 (not including additional leaves), dp. 41 3/4 in.

Condition Report

Overall wear consistent with age and use; cracks evident in cup and cover supports, various cracks/splits in wood, chips, nicks, scuffs, scratches on stretchers, table surface, cup and cover supports, carving. All age typical wear.
