Hampstead Heath, looking towards London signed indistinctly 'Emily Nicholson' (lower left) and with inscription 'Hampstead.' (on a label attached to the frame) pencil and watercolour, heightened with touches of bodycolour and gum arabic, and with scratching out 11.7/8 x 19.3/8 in. (30.3 x 49.4 cm. ) NOTES A painter of topography and houses, Nicholson exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Society of British Artists.
