Set of ephemera related to cruise ship companies. 1. Original vintage travel booklet timetable for Blue Star Line Luxury Sunshine Cruises on the SS Arandora Star to the Mediterranean featuring stunning cover artwork by the British artist Verney L. Danvers (Verney Lionel Danby Danvers; 1895-1973) including fish swimming in the sea. Other artwork includes people in traditional dress and photos of the Mosque of Omar and camel rides outside the Tombs of Cairo. The reverse side shows a timetable and a room plan for the ship.
