probably his sale, London, Cock, 22nd January - 10th February 1747; believed to be part of an album evidently compiled in the mid-18th Century;
Ray Livingston Murphy, New York,
by whose Estate sold, London, Christie's, 12 December 1985, as part of lot 154, for £650 to Adolphe Stein;
thence to the present owner
