Description

Fred Trask (Canadian, b. 1946) "The Princess Helene Coming In", acrylic on canvas board, 1977. Signed on front and back. Unframed. Fred Trask is one of Nova Scotia’s most beloved folk artists. He was the son of a barber from Digby, and began painting in the 1970s. He is well known for his depictions of Maud and Everett Lewis.

Good to fair condition. Surface grime, abrasions, and discolouration. Top left edge of canvas board has minor dents. Canvas board has slight overall warp, most likely rectified with framing.
