Frederick (Fred) Balshaw (ex.1888-1914) Coastal Scene with a Fishing Boat Anchored in an Estuary, Rocks and Cliffs in the Foreground Signed, oil on canvas, 46cm by 81cm (18in by 32in) *There was also a Florence E. Balshaw who exhibited between 1912 and 1940 and lived in Abergele, Wales in 1912, Colwyn Bay in 1921 and Ton-Y-Pandy in Wales in 1935 and exhibited 2 at the Walker Art Gallery Liverpool and 9 at the Royal Cambrian Academy. Fred Balshaw however exhibited at the Fine Art Society, Liverpool, Manchester, The Royal Academy and the Royal Hibernian Academy
