Condition Note: Lined canvas. A large area of stabilized paint lifting and some paint loss in lower left quadrant; another chip of paint loss at upper center; craquelure throughout the work; dirty varnish. Under UV light: opaque varnish; retouches to the area of paint lifting at lower left appear to be under masking varnish; a few spots of retouching in the sky and another spot at lower right are covered by masking varnish as well.
