Sicily, Kamarina, (425-405 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.02 g), obv. galloping quadriga driven to left by Athena who is crowned by Nike flying to right, heron flying left in exergue, rev. KAMAPINAION to left upwards, bearded head of Herakles to left, wearing lion's skin, (S.758, Westermark and Jenkins 142, SNG Lloyd 867, SNG Cop 162 [same dies], Basel 311, Gulbenkian 174). Lightly toned, well centred, nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
