Condition Report
The panel is made of a single piece of wood, and is uncradled. The varnish is even but a little discoloured. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals scattered retouchings throughout, but mainly in the sky. The buildings on the shoreline and the boat in the foreground remain largely untouched. Offered in a plain wood frame with ripple mouldings in the Dutch style, with a gilt sight edge.
