The Honda CBX by Japanese manufacturer Honda is a sports bike with a transverse in-line engine with 6 cylinders that was introduced onto the market in 1978. It was constructed by project manager Sh?ichir? Irimajiri and chief designer Norimoto Otsuka. The first CBX from 1978/79 was replaced by the successor model (Type SC03 CBX ‘A’ type code 469) in 1980 and in 1981 by the so-called Prolink (type SC06 Type Code MA2), in two slightly different versions (CBX ‘B’) and 1982 (CBX ‘C’). With its fairing, the bike emphasizes the character of a touring motorbike. A total of c. 36,000 CBX were produced, of which about 6,000 were imported to Germany.

Offered sporty cult bike is in very good condition. The registration document documents the use of the motorcycle only during the warm months of the years 1985 until 1991. In addition to this, several TÜV inspections are recorded.
