Catalogo della mostra che nel 1950, in varie sedi a New York (Whitney Museum of American Art), Boston (Museum of Fine Arts) e Detroit (Detroit Institute of Art), fece conoscere al pubblico americano alcuni capolavori dell'artista come Nighthawks e Dawn in Pennsylvania. L'esemplare reca l'invio autografo di Hopper.

Lettera autografa di Josephine Hopper, moglie dell'artista Edward Hopper dal 1924 al 1967, indirizzata a Edith Flack, consorte dell'incisore statunitense Stow Wengenroth. L'epistola contiene il racconto dell'ultimo soggiorno della coppia in Messico, durante il quale Hopper non riuscì a dipingere a causa di problemi di salute.
