Contract: Your bid is a contract. Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. If you are the successful bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the property bid on. You should contact the seller to resolve any questions before bidding
Buyer's Commission: There is a 15% buyer's commission plus a 3% AuctionZip LIVE! fee for all internet bidding.
Payment: Payment is due immediately. Payment methods include cash, money order, cashier's check or check with bank letter of credit approved by auctioneer, Visa, MasterCard or wire transfer. There is an additional 5% fee for credit card payments. If buyer does not make other arrangements upon winning a bid, then buyer's credit card on file will be charged for the purchase plus all fees. In any event, payment must be received within 3 days after the sale.
Taxes: Maryland sales tax in the amount of 6% will be charged on all purchases unless the item is shipped out of the state or you submit in advance a valid resale tax certificate to the auctioneer.
Condition: All merchandise is sold "as is, where is." Descriptions are believed to be correct but are not guaranteed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain the condition and authenticity of an item before bidding. If there is any question, buyer must ask auctioneer within 48hrs prior to auction. Once an item is sold, The winning bidder becomes the owner of the item immediately at the close of the bid. Auctioneer will not give refunds.
Shipping: Buyers pay all shipping, insurance and packaging supply costs. Although we do not have a shipping and handling department, we may be able to assist in shipping certain items. Otherwise, arranging shipping with a third party is the buyer's responsibility. PLEASE NOTE! Shipping furniture is expensive! Please do not bid on large items unless you are willing to pay their transport. Shippers can often give you an estimate before you place your bid.
