a collection of illustrated envelopes sent between 1898 & 1900 to miss isobel alty some pen and ink, some with watercolour (a lot) average size 9.5 by 12 cm.; 3 3/4 by 4 3/4 in. Miss Isobel Alty was a sweetheart of the artist. She later was to marry Henry Oates, a cousin of Captain Lawrence Oates.
