JAMES TORRINGTON BELL (Canadian/British, 1898-1970) "ANGUS FARMSTEAD". Fine oil on canvas scene shows stone farmhouse with connected buildings on hillside. Flock of sheep is walking across dirt road lined by stone walls. Background is cultivated fields and panoramic landscape. Large trees with no foliage surround farm. Signed lower left "J. Torrington Bell 1937". Housed in a fine textured silver gilt frame. Typed label to reverse, also some exhibit records are penciled on canvas. SIZE: 20" x 24".
