HOPKINS HOUSE - an original oil painting on canvas board C.1960 by British Artist James Wright (1935 - ). Signed by the artist. In good condition with a size of 6 x 4 1/2 inches with a frame that measures 10 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches, also in good condition. James Wright is regarded as one of the finest traditional landscape artists in Europe . Self taught, he is widely acclaimed for his romantic scenes of East Anglia, England and in particular his ability to capture the beauty of its wonderful sky. Recently a book, James Wright's East Anglia was published documenting some of Wright's life and works. A very fine example of mid-20th. C. painting. (#9)
