Description

Rare lithograph in color depicting President John F. Kennedy in his sailboat named Victura, pencil signed Jamie Wyeth and numbered 45/300. Edition WJ225 by American Atelier of NYC, done on Somerset paper and published by Circle Fine Art in 1979. Paper size 34.75 x 25.25 in, framed 44.5 x 34.5 in. Excellent condition. This print was produced in a limited run of 300 to commemorate the dedication of the JFK Library in Boston in 1979. (Jamie Wyeth b. 1946 in Delaware. Son of Andrew Wyeth, America's most popular painter, and a grandson of the illustrator Newell Convers Wyeth, Jamie Wyeth has established a national reputation as a painter of portraits, animals, and landscapes. He did several portraits of the Kennedys and other presidents).
