Jean Baptiste Bottex (1918-1979) - "The Last Supper"
Jean-Baptiste Bottex (June 24, 1918 – May 28, 1979) was a Haitian painter. Hailing from Port Margot in northern Haiti, Bottex painted scenes from the Bible and daily Haitian life. His works were of the classic Naïve style and were displayed at the Centre d'Art. This piece is signed and dated 1969. Its in excellent condition. The frame measures 64cm by 54cm high.

1) This is Auction Room Buying. folks... Absolutely No Guarantees.....no Warranties.... and no Refunds. By the time you have received your item we have already paid the Vendor.

The Auction house takes no responsibility for items descriptions or condition, they are bought by the seller at their discretion. You must draw your own opinion on each item, and live view if possible between 10am and 4pm the Friday prior to a live sale. Our lot descriptions are made with the best intention, and is the best we can do to describe each lot as accurately as possible. But we will not be held responsible for any error, that is why we offer you 5 days prior to the Auction to request more info.

2) We do not own the items we are selling, so if a lot offends you or you dont like it, simply move on and dont buy it.

3) Items must be paid for within 48 hours of the auctions completion.

4) Any purchases not paid for will be blocked by Invaluable from any future bidding.

5) The Winning bidder will forfeit ownership of their won items if they are not collected within the specified collection time frame, Ownership of their items will become the property of the auction room and we reserve the right to sell them in the next auction to recoup storage fees. To avoid this please collect your items in the 5 day time frame. That is by the Friday after this Auction. If you need assistance please email us ASAP after the sale, and we can direct you to good local carriers to assist you.
