Description

Joan Nelson, American ( b. 1958), "Clouds # 38," a student work, oil on canvas, signed lower left and titled and adted 1972 on the verso, measures 9 x 12 inches, 11 x 14 inches framed. CONDITION: Good. Nelson is known today as a member of the School of Post-Modernist painting. Nelson's work is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C.; and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
