Description

A typescript note on Apple headed stationery, the note pertaining to John Lennon's series of Bag One lithographs, the note stating John Lennon/Bag One is a series of fourteen original lithographs, each has been pulled on BFK Rivers Paper at the Bank Street Atelier Ltd, New York. The pull is limited to 300 Examples, each print individually signed by John Lennon and numbered 1 to 300. 45 examples, Hors De Commerce, Each print individually signed by the artist and numbered HC1 to HC VL..., 1p. the page signed by John Lennon and dated 23/9/72, and additionally annotated with a self-portrait caricature of John Lennon's and Yoko Ono's smiling faces, additionally marked with an asterix next to lithographs and inscribed in Lennon's hand 1969

Notes

This letter accompanied the lithograph in the following lot which was donated by John Lennon and Yoko Ono to a charity auction in aid of the National Organisation For Women in 1972.
