15 x 14 1/2 inches 38.1 x 36.8 centimeters signed twice and inscribed ""9420"" and on verso titled Provenance:Donated by the Artist John Koerner is the oldest still-active member of the Vancouver School of painters, who developed modernism on the West Coast. This beautiful Whistler landscape, one of four or five in a set, depicts the loftiness and strength of the mountains in the Garibaldi region. The artist stated: "This set was unusual as I rarely dealt with direct landscape."
