Description

Karen Karnes (American, 1925 - 2016), "Covered Ceramic Container," signed on the bottom with her distinctive chop, measures 4 x 4 inches. CONDITION: Good, no chips or cracks. Karen Karnes was known for her wheel thrown functional pottery, especially her iconic covered casseroles and her experiments with wood firing both functional and sculptural pottery.
