This lush illustration is from Rudyard Kipling's Le Livre de la Jungle or The Jungle Book. It was published Paris by Sagittaire and Simon Kra between 1924 and 1925. The illustrations were completed by Maurice de Becque. The publication was limited to 300 copies, this being one of 200 printed to pure rag vellum.
