Marked on top tang "MODEL 1886", bottom tang marked "PAT. OCT. 14.1884 JAN. 20. 1885" & S#. Action marked on front end "C". Straight grip action appears complete & mechanically functional. Stock retaining screws not present. CONDITION: has wear, dents, scratches, oxidation & fine pitting w/ traces of nickel plating in protected areas. Lower tang has prep work for refinish. Top flat marked ahead of rear sight dovetail "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.". Receiver marked on top tang "MODEL 1886", marked on lower tang with patent dates & S#. Receiver has hammer, lower tang, incomplete single set trigger & mainspring. CONDITION: metal turning gray & patina w/ heavy wear, scratches, oxidation & pitting. Poor worn bore turning dark w/ pitting. (01-14591/RW). ANTIQUE. 4) WINCHESTER MODEL 92 ACTION. S# 907236. Checkered semi pistol grip walnut stock w/ smooth steel buttplate. Forend iron & forearm not present. CONDITION: walnut stock has refinish w/ sanding marks evident, flattening of diamonds, cracked knot on left side, wear, dents, scratches & staining.
