Marvin Earl Arnold grew up in Ohio & Oklahoma. The author is a 30 year veteran of the aerospace industry. Over the years, he has owned more than 100 makes and models of automobiles and has personally restored several dozen different models of motorcars. Many of these cars were Lincolns and Continentals. He recently finished restoring a 1941 and 1942 Continental Coupe. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Historians and a certified Grand National Antique Automobile Clubs of America member. His famous book has been nationally recognized as the eminent authority on the early years of the Lincoln Motor Company & reflects his many hours of research on the subject of the Lincoln and Continental automobiles as well as the men and organizations, which created them. Donn T. Burrows (1932-2015) was born in Dayton, Ohio. Captain Burrows was a graduate of Manchester College and the Naval War College in Newport, RI. Captain Burrows had a 30 year career as a Naval Intelligence Officer, during which time he served in multiple leadership positions around the world including Japan, Vietnam, and England. At the time of his retirement, he was the Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence. Captain Burrows was the recipient of numerous medals and commendations, including four Legions of Merit. He & his wife Judy helped in the compiling of the book (see inscription).
