Description: 1) SWASTIKA RUG. A lg. 55" x 37" red, white & black latch hooked rug resembling a Nazi Party flag. Rug is post WWII. CONDITION: rug shows moderate wear w/ scattered light staining. (02-9076/BF). 2) 6 MINE FLAGS WITH CANVAS POUCH. Flags have a black skull & crossbones on a yellow field & measure approx. 4 3/4" x 3 1/2". They are mounted on metal, red painted stakes 19 1/2" long & are housed in a green canvas pouch w/ carrying strap. CONDITION: flags show significant use w/ a few holes & tears. Stakes have some paint loss. Pouch has a few holes & light wear. (02-9285/BF). 3) WOOD BOX. A 40" x 7" x 4" wooden box addressed Waterville Me. possibly used to send home a rifle. Box has leather hinges & has an ink customs stamp on the outside. Box was sent home from APO 83 by a member of Company C of the 308th Engineer Battalion. CONDITION: box shows moderate use but is generally solid. (02-9576/BF). 4) SS PODIUM BANNER. Banner is single sided & measures 54" x 19". It has white SS runes on a black field. Post WWII. CONDITION: banner shows no wear but minor staining. (02-9716/BF). 5) SS PODIUM BANNER. Banner is single sided & measures 52" x 19". It has white SS runes on a black field. Post WWII. CONDITION: banner shows no wear but minor staining. (02-9717/BF). 6) SS TABLE BANNER. A sm. 12 1/2" x 8 1/4" single sided table banner w/ silver fringe on the bottom. Banner has white SS runes on a black field. Post WWII. CONDITION: banner shows no wear or staining. (02-9758/BF). 7) SS FLAG. Flag measures 30 3/4" x 43 1/4" & has white SS runes on a black field. There is a partial paper RZM tag glued to the hoist & a sewn in mfg. tag that reads "FAHNENRICHTER gegr 1869 KOLN". Flag is likely post WWII. CONDITION: flag shows no wear or staining. (02-9769/BF). 8) MEDICAL OFFICER'S VISOR CAP. Cap has a green wool body w/ a dark green band & bright blue piping. Metal Army eagle, wreath & cockade. Simluated bullion chinstrap. Pebbled side buttons. Sweatband & sweatshield. Hat is likely of post WWII mfg. CONDITION: hat shows little wear. Visor possibly reattached. (02-9858-1/BF). 9) 4 NAZI RELATED ITEMS. A Luftschutz flat silver bullion eagle, a 50 pfennig bank note, a paperweight w/ cast Luftwaffe paratrooper badge on top, a spool of black SS thread w/ SS RZM tag attached. All of these items are believed to be post WWII. CONDITION: light to moderate wear. (02-9863-1/BF). 10) 19 MOSTLY FRAMED POSTERS, PHOTOS, DRAWINGS, ETC. A sm. poster measuring 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" depicting SA soldiers marching & a quote from Hitler. A pencil or charcoal sketch of General Rommel in a modern 20" x 15" frame. A modern photograph of 4 SS flags in an 8" x 10" frame. An 11" x 8 3/4" pencil sketch of a WWII German private wearing an Iron Cross buttonhole ribbon. A sm. poster measuring 13" x 9 1/2" titled "VOLK HILF DIR SELBST" w/ a 1" hole in the center & wear at the corners. A sm. 10 1/2" x 8" print of an SS, an NSKK & a Hitler Youth soldier marching w/ a tank in the background. A sm. poster measuring 13 3/4" x 9 1/2" depicting a Party eagle, sword, hammer & cogwheel w/ a quote from Adolf Hitler. A framed polaroid photograph of a formal dinner white SS uniform w/ peaked hat. Payments: 8. PAYMENT: All items are to be paid for in American Funds the day of the sale. We accept Cash, pre-approved checks, Visa, MC, American Express, Discover & wire transfers. All items must be paid for in full before being removed from our facility. All fees associated with the cost of a wire transfer or bank check are those of the purchaser.
* Must have valid drivers license when paying by charge cards & checks.
* Checks are to be pre-approved by auctioneer prior to the auction (at least 2 business days before auction, NOT the day of the auction). A letter of reference from your bank is recommended to those who have never done business with us before. The auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by checks that have not been pre-approved, until we can see that the check has cleared the bank. It is our policy to hold merchandise on all first time buyers until check has cleared the bank. Our bank has recommended 10 business days. This enables the check to clear the bank & if it does not, then it gives them the time to notify us via mail.
* There will be a $25 fee charged for all returned checks.
* Third party checks are not accepted.
Note: Delay in payment, means delay in shipment to you. Delay in shipment to you could mean you lose all possibility of a return, so please make a prompt payment. Speediest form of payment is Credit Cards or Bank Checks. Personal or Business checks from first time buyers will hold the shipment up for 10 business days until checks have cleared the bank. This could jeopardize the warranties of the descriptions if the shipment exceeds 18 business days.
9. OUT OF COUNTRY BUYERS.
9A. Payment must be in the form of either Wire transfers or Checks drawn on United States Banks. Credit cards are only accepted for the shipping process, NOT for payment. All fees associated with the use of a wire transfer is the responsibility of the purchaser. This includes the $25 fee that Poulin Antiques & Auctions, Inc. is charged by their bank for the international wire transfer.
9B. The payment by wire transfer or bank check qualifies the purchaser for a 2.5% deduction on their Buyers Premium.
